Raimondas is one of the most experienced Lithuanian cavers. It is difficult to name all of his achievements and visited caves. He was an active pioneer of SRT and cardelet technique not only in Lithuania, but in former USSR also.

Lithuanian caving team led by Raimondas accomplished “the high-speed” passages of:

- Napra -956 m (1988, Bzyb massif, Western Caucasus, Abkhazia),
- the small traverse of Snezhnaya - Mezhonogo - 600 m (1992, Bzyb massif, Western Caucasus, Abkhazia),
- Soldatskaya - 500 m (1989, Karabi-Yayla, Crimea, Ukraine).

Raimondas passed in solo (alone!) the caves Soldatskaya and Nazarovskaya.

He passed the siphons (maiden passing) of the cave KSS (Abkhazia) in an extreme way.

Raimondas has discovered the caves Sezamas and Venta in Karabi-Yayla, Crimea, Ukraine. Now he is organizing cave search expeditions to Aladaglar massif in the Taurus Mountains (Turkey). It is impossible to count all of his journeys to Karabi-Yayla (Crimea) during a year. Recently he is paying a great deal of attention to ecological topics.

Raimondas has his own original expedition tactics. It is strongly recommended for his companions to have a developed sense of humor and a stable nervous system.
