Additional information: Vytautas Gudaitis is one the pioneers in cave diving and cave filming not only in Lithuania, but also in former USSR. Of course, there are mentioned far from all his expeditions and achievements. Vytautas Gudaitis was the president of Lithuanian Cave Sports Association and is the founder of Lithuanian caving club "Gelmės". He trained and led more than one generation of cavers, among them: R. Daniūnas, K. Tamošaitis, I. Čialovas, K. Sikorskis, J. Sikorskienė, Š. Tamašauskas, A. Gudaitis, I. Gudaitienė.

1979 spring - the Carpatian mountains, Ukraine, leader E. Laiconas. Cave: Atlantida.
1979 summer - Abrschilla, Caucasus. Search expedition. Cave: Otap's head.
1980 summer - the south Ural mountains, Bashkiria. Caves: Vintovaya (-270 m), Kutug 3 (2a cat.), mine Yuzhnaya (2a cat.), Barsukhskaya, mine Krasnodar, Sungan-Kutug (-130 m, 9 km length).
1981 - Karabi-Yayla, Crimea, Ukraine, leader V. Gudaitis. Caves:
Dubljansky, Skazka, Kruber, Mamino, Niumino, Mir, Kastere, Buzluk, Krymskaya, Muzykalnaya.
1982 summer - Dzhentu, Caucasus, Russia, leader V. Kiseliov/V. Gudaitis (for Lithuanians). Cave: Mayskaya (-400 m).
1982 - the Ural mountains, Russia, leader V. Gudaitis. Caves: Kapov and many others near the river Belaya. The caves were accesible only from river. The team was traveling by rafts.
1983 - Kugitang,
Tadzhikistan, leader V. Gudaitis. Caves: system of horizontal labyrinths Karliuku, Khoshim-Uyuk Cave. One of the most beautiful caves in my lifetime.
1984 - Bzyb massif, west Caucasus, Abkhazia. Cave: Snezhnaya, descended into „The Great Well".

1991 - Bzyb massif, west Caucasus, Abkhazia. Leader V. Gudaitis. Common Lithuanian and Catalonian expedition aiming to break world's deepest cave record. Cave: Pantiukhinskaya -1507 m (descended -300 m). Expedition failed because of the crash of the helicopter.

1998 spring - the Carpatian mountains, Ukraine, leader V. Gudaitis. Cave: Optimisticheskaya (220 km, horizontal).
2001 July - the Velebit mountains, Croatia, leader A. Gudaitis. Cave: Lukina Jama. V. Gudaitis helped to organize and lead expedition. Lithuanian deepest descent's record was reached during this expedition.
